CMMG Banshee Mk4 22 LR 4.5" 25rd Bronze Pistol with ZEROED 22 Suppressor

The Banshee is CMMG's compact AR pattern platform and this Mk4 build is chambered in 22 LR behind a 4.5" barrel. A rimfire Banshee is a different animal from a centerfire one. Recoil is almost nothing, the report is mild to begin with, and 22 LR lets you shoot all afternoon without thinking about it. The magazine holds 25 rounds, the EML7 handguard gives you somewhere to hang a light or a sling mount, and the multi bronze finish is a break from the usual black hardware.

This configuration is built around a CMMG ZEROED 22 suppressor finished to match the handguard, so the can and the host go together instead of being sorted out later. A dedicated rimfire can on a barrel this short cuts the report down to the sound of the action cycling, which is about as quiet as shooting gets. The other reason to own a rimfire Banshee is skill transfer. The manual of arms carries straight over from a 5.56 carbine, so a shooter can drill reloads, malfunction clearances and position work in 22 LR and take all of it back to a centerfire gun without relearning anything. For a new shooter this is one of the least intimidating ways into the AR platform, and for an experienced one it is easy trigger time on a gun that handles like the rest of the rack.
