Maxim Defense MD15 Duty Precision 6mm ARC 18" Rifle

Same MD15 Duty Precision build, chambered in 6mm ARC. Hornady put that cartridge together to push a heavier, sleeker 6mm bullet out of an AR-15 sized action, and it does the job: less wind drift and more punch left at 600 yards and past it than 5.56 manages, from a rifle that still weighs what an AR weighs and still uses AR-15 lowers. An 18" barrel is the right length for the round, long enough to reach the velocity it was built around without turning the gun into a bench queen.

Maxim set this one up for shooting from support. The Magpul PRS Lite stock adjusts for length of pull and comb height, the M-Rax handguard takes a bipod or a tripod clamp through its M-Slot attachment points, and the aluminum receiver carries a full Picatinny top rail for whatever optic the job calls for. A Radian charging handle works from either side. The muzzle wears a Maxim QD flash hider that doubles as a suppressor mount. Black polymer furniture, black anodized receiver, nothing decorative. It shoots like a precision rifle and handles like a carbine, which is a harder combination to buy than it sounds.
