The Tech-15 Guardian rifle uses the tougher-than-nails Fostech Tech-15 forged aluminum-alloy Mil-Spec, black anodized upper and lower receiver set as its foundation. The rifle features a full profile 16" 1 in 7 twist barrel chambered in 5.56 Nato, a black nitride bolt carrier group, and the newly designed Mach-1 16" lightweight M-LOK compatible rail. The Tech 15 Guardian also utilizes a Fostech .750 low-profile gas block complimenting a mid-length gas system, to ensure ultra-smooth cycling and reliability. All of these premium features are designed to allow the rifle to keep a very trim profile while also making it a workhorse capable of long days on the range. Fostech designed this rifle to hold up under even the heaviest of combat conditions and while it is slightly heavier than some of their more premium models, it still comes in at only 5.97 lbs making it one of the lightest AR platform rifles on the market. As such, they are ideally suited for law enforcement or security forces where dependability and ease of carry are a must. This model comes in a beautiful black anodized/black cerakote finish and is completed with a premium grade Fostech Lite Castle Nut, an ergonomic Fostech Sabre Pistol Grip, an MFT Minimalist Stock, and Fostechs highly sought-after Strake Brake Compensator.
