About this product
This Mini-14 Tactical pairs Ruger's ranch proven 5.56 NATO semi auto with an exclusive Hogue overmolded stock in Ghillie Green. It runs an 18.5 inch cold hammer forged barrel in blued alloy steel and comes with a 5 round magazine, a Picatinny rail and scope rings.
The action is the familiar Garand style design: a breech bolt locking system, a fixed piston gas system and a self cleaning moving gas cylinder that keep it running when it is dirty, hot or cold. Integral scope mounts are machined right into the solid steel receiver, so rings sit on the receiver itself instead of a bolted on base, and the receiver is also drilled and tapped for the included rail. Iron sights are a post front and peep rear. It is a handy, low maintenance rifle for the truck, the barn and the range.
