EMF Great Western II US Grant 45 Colt 4.75" 6rd Nickel Engraved Revolver

The Great Western II line reproduces the Old West revolver most people picture when they hear the word sixgun, and the US Grant is the dress version of it. The whole gun wears an engraved nickel finish, with scroll work cut across the frame, the barrel and the cylinder, and the grips are an ivory colored polymer that reads like the real material without the fragility. It is chambered in 45 Colt, the cartridge the pattern was born with, and the cylinder holds six.

The 4.75" barrel is the classic cavalry length. It clears leather quickly and still shoots well at the distances a cowboy match or a plinking session calls for, and the balance is a big part of why this configuration has lasted as long as it has. Nickel plating does more than look good on a revolver that gets handled, since it takes fingerprints and weather better than a blued finish.
