About the DPMS DPM4 AR-15 5.56
The DPM4 is a complete AR-15 rifle in 5.56 NATO built around a 16" M4 profile barrel with a nitride finish, an M4 barrel extension and a carbine length gas system. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with an A2 flash hider, and a low profile gas block sits underneath a 13.5" DPMS free float M-LOK handguard, which leaves the barrel unsupported by the rail and gives the support hand plenty of room to move.
The upper is a forged M4 pattern receiver, hard coat anodized, and the lower is forged as well. The bolt carrier group uses a full auto profile carrier with a shot peened bolt and a gas key staked to mil spec, which is the build standard most people look for when they want a rifle to hold up past a few cases of ammunition. Furniture is a standard M4 stock and one 30 round magazine comes with the rifle. Nothing here is exotic, and that is the point of an M4 pattern carbine.
