Diamondback DB15 5.56 NATO 10" 30rd SBR

Diamondback built this DB15 as a true short barrel rifle in 5.56 NATO: a 10" threaded barrel, a full stock and NFA paperwork, with no brace workaround. It runs a carbine length gas system with a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block, which lets you dial gas back when a suppressor is on and open it up when it is off. The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 and carries a SilencerCo ASR muzzle brake.

The 9" V3 M-LOK handguard has room for a weapon light, a hand stop and a sling point. At the back is a Magpul carbine stock, and the receivers are aluminum with a black anodized finish. One 30rd Magpul PMAG comes with the rifle. This model was a TALO exclusive. With 5.56 out of a 10" barrel, expect more blast and flash than a 16" carbine, which is one reason the threaded muzzle and adjustable gas matter here. The layout is standard AR-15, so magazines, optics and accessories built for the platform's rails and controls are familiar, and the short length makes it easy to move through doorways and in and out of a vehicle.
