Colt M4 Commando 5.56 NATO 11.5" 30rd Rifle

The M4 Commando is Colt's short barrel take on the M4 carbine, and it has been in law enforcement and military inventories in that configuration for decades. Cutting the barrel to 11.5" pulls a lot of length out of the package without changing anything about how the gun runs. Controls, magazines and the manual of arms are standard AR-15, so a shooter who has run a carbine picks this up cold. In 5.56 NATO the short barrel gives up some velocity against a 16" or 20" gun.
