Colt Target Python 357 Mag 4.25" 6rd Shooter's Model Revolver

The Target Python takes Colt's best known revolver and sets it up for the range. It is chambered in 357 Magnum and also shoots 38 Special, with a fluted six round cylinder and a one piece full lug barrel of 4.25" topped by a vented rib. The frame is stainless steel with a polished finish, and the walnut target grips carry a silver Colt medallion.

Sighting is where the Target model earns its name. The green fiber optic front sight is user interchangeable, so you can swap it to suit the light or your eyes, and the redesigned rear sight is built stronger and adjusts for your load. The full lug barrel puts weight forward, which helps hold the muzzle down with full power magnums and keeps follow up shots quick. This is a Shooter's Model: it is new in the box, but it may have a slight finish imperfection from manufacturing that is not covered by Colt's one year warranty. Most are hard to see without a trained eye or a magnifier.
