Colt 1911 Defender 45 ACP 3" 7rd Two-Tone Pistol

The Colt Defender is a carry ready compact 1911 in 45 ACP with a 3" barrel and a 7 round magazine. A lightweight aluminum frame paired with a steel slide brings it to about 24 ounces, so it rides easily on the belt all day. This model wears a two tone finish.

It keeps the features that make a 1911 easy to shoot well. Novak sights give a clean sight picture, the half checkered G10 grips lock into your hand without being harsh, and the upswept beavertail grip safety lets you get high on the gun to control the snap of a short barrel 45. The slide is serrated for a positive grip. It is a single action semi auto 1911, so the controls will be familiar to anyone who has run a full size Government, and it comes with one 7 round magazine. If you want a 45 that hides under a shirt and still shoots like a 1911, the Defender is built for that job.
