Colt, 1911 Competition Pistol, 45 ACP, 5 inch, 8+1 rounds, Blue Titanium Cerakote, Gray G10 grips

The Colt 1911 Competition Pistol carries the storied 1911 lineage into match-ready territory with a 5-inch stainless steel National Match barrel, Blue Titanium Cerakote finish, and gray G10 scalloped grips that give a shooter balance and durability for range days or competition, while the Novak contrast sight configuration with a red fiber optic front and adjustable rear delivers fast target acquisition and fine-tuned aiming for slow-fire stages or defensive drills. This Competition series 1911 uses single-action operation (SAO), a dual recoil spring system to tame recoil on hot 45 ACP loads, and a 70 series firing pin system for reliable ignition, making it suitable for USPSA-style competition, bullseye practice, or serious range training. At 36.00 oz and an 8+1 capacity, it blends weight for controllable recoil with carryable footprint, and ambidextrous grip and thumb safeties support left- or right-handed shooters. The stainless steel frame and serrated slide provide longevity and positive handling, and the pistol includes a magazine and spare sight fibers; note that FFL transfer is required for purchase.
