Colt 1911 Competition Pistol .45 Acp 5 inch 8+1 Capacity Stainless

The Colt 1911 Competition Pistol in .45 ACP brings a shooter-ready Government Competition platform to the range with a 5-inch stainless match-grade National Match barrel, serrated stainless slide and a durable stainless frame that resists corrosion during heavy use; as a Series 70, its firing system delivers a clean, crisp single-action-only trigger pull well-suited to timed stages in USPSA, IDPA or club-level steel challenges. You'll notice the checkered blue G10 grips, upswept beavertail grip safety and undercut trigger guard keep the pistol low in the hand for consistent sight alignment and recoil management, while the dual recoil spring system reduces felt recoil and extends spring life for sustained practice sessions. Novak fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights give fast target acquisition and fine-tuning for precision work, and the 8+1 capacity along with a 36 oz weight provide a balance between control and carryability on match days or range training. This Colt Competition 1911 blends competition-ready ergonomics and components with the classic .45 ACP power for serious sport shooters and range officers who demand reliable performance.
