Cimarron Hollywood Rooster Shooter 45 Colt 4.75" 6rd Revolver

Cimarron copied the Rooster Shooter in every detail from the Colt John Wayne carried through his later westerns, from Chisum and Big Jake to True Grit and Rooster Cogburn. It is not a dressed up sixgun with engraving and fancy plating. The finish is trail worn, with the bluing worn away the way the Duke's own gun looked on screen.

Built by Uberti in 45 Colt, it has a 4.75" barrel, a 6 round cylinder, a steel frame and an exposed hammer. The grip reproduces the aged, yellowed finger grooved grip of the movie gun, and the front sight is a wide blade. Weight is about 39.7 oz. It handles like any single action army pattern revolver, so it works on a cowboy action stage as well as it does in a display case, and fans of the films will know exactly what it is the moment they see it. The Rooster Shooter is part of Cimarron's Hollywood series of movie gun replicas.
