Pietta GWII Hand of God 45 Colt 4.75" Revolver

The Pietta Great Western II Hand of God is a 45 Colt single action revolver with a 4.75" barrel and a black walnut grip set with a cross. The cross on the grip is what gives the gun its name, and it makes this one easy to pick out of a row of plain 1873 pattern revolvers.

Under the styling it is a Great Western II, the 1873 pattern single action Pietta builds for EMF. You thumb the hammer back for every shot and the trigger releases it. The 4.75" barrel is the classic length for cowboy action shooting and for a western belt rig, and 45 Colt is the cartridge the original 1873 design was built around. It suits a shooter who wants a working single action with more character than plain walnut, or a collector of themed western revolvers. The cross stands against the dark walnut, so it is easy to see from a distance.
