Cimarron 1872 Open Top Navy .44 Special 7.5 inch 6 Shot Blued Walnut

The Cimarron 1872 Open Top Navy from Cimarron Firearms brings collectors and shooters an authentic-feeling replica revolver built around the classic 1872 Open Top Navy model series, chambered for .44 Special while also running .44 Colt and .44 Russian, with a six-shot cylinder and a 7.5-inch blued barrel that gives the revolver steady balance and longer sight radius for target work and reenactment shooting. The case-hardened frame offers traditional looks and durable wear resistance, paired with a one-piece walnut grip that sits comfortably in the hand for controlled single-action fire and reliable follow-up shots; the standard hammer and trigger feel are true to period design yet suitable for modern range use. Weighing roughly 37.2 ounces and finished in classic blue, this Open Top Navy makes a strong display piece for a Western collection while functioning as a capable match for cowboy action, target practice, and historical demonstrations, and it requires FFL transfer where applicable. If you want an historically inspired, fully usable .44 revolver that reads like a museum piece at first glance and shoots like a practical shooter, this Cimarron 1872 Open Top Navy delivers.
