Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT 300 RUM 22" Burnt Bronze Rifle

300 Remington Ultra Magnum holds about as much powder as a standard length action will accept, and it wants barrel to make sense of it. The Ridgeline FFT gives it 22" of stainless steel under an aerograde carbon fiber wrap, which is the compromise that lets a rifle this powerful still ride on a pack. The wrap also pulls heat out of the barrel faster than bare steel, and a cartridge burning this much powder generates plenty of it.

The stock is Flash Forged Technology carbon fiber, a monocoque shell built without the internal filler ordinary composites carry, and the action is spot bedded into it with the barrel floating free. Burnt Bronze metal sits against a Barren Dune camo stock. The muzzle is threaded and a removable stainless side baffle brake comes installed, which on a 300 RUM in a rifle this light is doing real work. The receiver is machined steel on a Remington 700 footprint, drilled and tapped, and the TriggerTech trigger breaks flat with no creep ahead of it.
