Howa M1500 Fence Line Mini 6.5 Grendel 20" 5rd Scorched Earth Rifle

6.5 Grendel proved that a short, fat case could throw a heavy 6.5mm bullet a long way without much powder and without much recoil. In the Howa Mini Action it makes even more sense than it does in the AR it was born in, because the receiver is sized to the cartridge rather than the other way around and the bolt face was cut for that case head from the start. The Fence Line pairs it with a 20" heavy contour barrel and a radial muzzle brake.

The rifle wears a bronze receiver and a pillar bedded synthetic stock in Scorched Earth camo with a recoil pad at the back. Howa's sub MOA guarantee applies here the same as it does across the line: one inch or better at 100 yards with premium factory ammunition. The action has a two stage match trigger, a three position safety, a forged bolt with two locking lugs and an M16 style extractor, and a firing pin that comes out without tools for cleaning.
