Ruger American Gen II 308 Win 20" 3rd Gun Metal Gray Rifle

The Generation II update to the Ruger American Rifle keeps what made the original accurate and fixes what hunters asked for. This 308 Win model has a 20" medium contour barrel with deep spiral flutes, cold hammer forged, threaded 5/8-24 and fitted with a radial port muzzle brake. Barrel, receiver, brake and bolt handle wear Gun Metal Gray Cerakote, and the stock is a gray splatter synthetic that gives a sure grip without chewing up your hands.

The stock fits more shooters than before: pull the installed spacer and length of pull drops from 13.75" to 12", and the low comb riser comes off when you shoot with low mounted sights. Ruger's Power Bedding block locates the receiver and free floats the barrel. The bolt body is stainless steel with the familiar three lug, 70 degree throw, and the oversized handle is threaded 5/16-24 if you want to swap the knob. A three position tang safety locks the bolt but still lets you load with the safety on. The Marksman Adjustable trigger sets from 3 to 5 lbs. A one piece Picatinny base is installed, it feeds from a 3 round AI style magazine, and it weighs 6.2 lbs. One magazine and steel sling swivel studs are included.
