Browning BAR MK3 300 Win Mag 24" 3rd Nickel Walnut Rifle

The BAR MK3 in 300 Win Mag is the big game version of Browning's walnut autoloader, built for elk, moose and long shots across open country. The 24 inch hammer forged sporter barrel gives the magnum room to burn its powder, and the gas operated action soaks up a share of the recoil a bolt gun would put straight into your shoulder. That makes a quick second shot on a moving animal a realistic option with a cartridge this strong.

The receiver is aluminum alloy with a satin nickel finish and high relief engraving, set off by a polished blued barrel and an oil finished Grade II Turkish walnut stock with cut checkering. Inside, the seven lug rotating bolt locks into the barrel, and the action bar and inertia block link up to cut vibration for better accuracy. A buffer system reduces wear on the action. The magazine is a detachable box with a hinged floorplate and holds 3 magnum rounds. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and the rifle has a crossbolt safety, a gold plated trigger and an Inflex recoil pad, with the stock shim adjustable for cast and drop.
