Browning, Bar Mk4 Hunter Composite, 300 Win Mag, 24 in, Matte Blued Barrel Composite Stock

The Browning BAR Mk4 Hunter Composite in 300 Win with a 24-inch fluted, non-reflective matte blued barrel brings magnum-level stopping power to the autoloading big game hunter who wants reliability and low weight in the field. As part of Browning's BAR series, this Mk4 Hunter Composite pairs a lightweight alloy receiver and gas piston operation with Browning's seven-lug rotating bolt for a precise breech-to-chamber lockup and consistent accuracy shot after shot, while the integral buffering system and strong action bar/inertia block link-up reduce wear and barrel vibration for tighter groups during follow-up shots. The composite stock with overmolded gripping panels, shim-adjustable comb for cast and drop control, raised SoftFlex cheekpad and Inflex recoil pad make it comfortable for long glassing days and fast, repeatable sight alignment from blind or saddle. The detachable box magazine and autoloading cycle mean quicker second shots on elk or moose at extended ranges, and the non-reflective matte blued finishes cut glare when stalking. This firearm requires an FFL transfer, and its combination of magnum caliber power, durable composite stock, and Browning's proven action makes it an excellent choice for serious hunters and range-savvy shooters seeking a semi-auto big game rifle.
