Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed CF 308 Win 22" 4rd OVIX Rifle

The X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon Fiber SR pairs a carbon fiber wrapped stainless barrel with Browning's adjustable Vari-Tech stock, and in 308 Win it makes a light, accurate deer and elk rifle that weighs about 6 lbs 1 oz. The 22 inch Preferred Barrels blank is button rifled, stress relieved and wrapped in carbon fiber for stiffness without the weight of a heavy steel contour. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 and comes fitted with a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake, with a thread protector included for suppressor users.

The Vari-Tech composite stock wears Browning OVIX camo and adjusts for length of pull, comb height and grip angle with interchangeable grips, so it can be fitted to the shooter and the scope. The redesigned X-Bolt 2 receiver and bolt run smoothly, and the metal carries a Tungsten Cerakote finish. The short action feeds from a detachable 4 round magazine. The adjustable DLX trigger is a three lever design with zero creep, take-up or overtravel. The action is bedded and the barrel free floated, the top tang safety works with a bolt unlock button, and the receiver uses the X-Lock four screw scope mounting system.
