Browning X-Bolt 2 Micro 6.5 PRC 22" 3rd Rifle

The X-Bolt 2 Micro is the compact member of Browning's current bolt gun family, built for smaller shooters and for hunters who count every ounce. The Vari-Tech stock starts at a 12-7/8 inch length of pull and adjusts out to 13-7/8, so it can grow with a young hunter or fit an adult with a shorter reach. The comb adjusts too, and interchangeable grip modules with overmolded surfaces tune the fit further. This one is chambered in 6.5 PRC, a flat shooting round with plenty of energy for deer and elk at distance.

The 22 inch sporter contour barrel is free floated and finished in non reflective matte blued. Its muzzle carries 5/8-24 threads with a muzzle brake installed and a thread protector in the box, so going suppressed only takes swapping the brake for a can. Browning reworked the receiver with more bolt guidance surface for smoother cycling, gave the bolt an ergonomic handle, and fitted the DLX trigger, a three lever design that adjusts from its hunting weight setting. The detachable rotary magazine holds 3 rounds. A 1 inch Inflex pad soaks up recoil, and the X-Lock system holds scope bases with four screws apiece.
