Browning BAR MK4 Hunter Composite 308 Win 22" 4rd Rifle

The BAR MK4 Hunter Composite is the weather proof version of Browning's gas piston hunting autoloader. A black composite stock with overmolded gripping panels replaces walnut, so rain, sleet and a scraped stock in the truck bed are not a worry. In 308 Win it carries 4 rounds in a detachable box magazine and is light enough to carry all day, with a 22 inch fluted barrel that keeps weight off the muzzle without giving up the length the cartridge likes.

Under the stock this is the same BAR action that has earned its reputation for bolt gun accuracy. A seven lug rotating bolt locks directly into the barrel, the action bar and inertia block link up to damp barrel vibration, and a buffering system eases wear on the moving parts. The lightweight alloy receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. A raised SoftFlex cheek pad helps line your eye up behind a scope, the stock adjusts with shims for cast and drop, and an Inflex recoil pad handles what the gas system does not. Metal is a non reflective matte blued finish.
