Zastava Arms ZPAPM90 5.56 NATO 18.25" 30rd Serbian Red Rifle

The Zastava ZPAPM90 is the M70 action scaled for 5.56x45 NATO, and it also handles 223 Remington. This model wears a full Serbian Red wood stock set, the deep red finish Zastava rifles are known for. The barrel is 18.25" long, cold hammer forged and chrome lined, with a fast 1:7 twist that stabilizes heavier 5.56 bullets, and the muzzle is threaded M14x1 left hand under an AK slant brake.

Where the M90 differs from a typical AK is the gas system. A 3 position adjustable gas block lets you tune the rifle to your ammunition or muzzle device, and the piston head is hollowed for consistency. The receiver is the 1.5mm type with a bulged front trunnion, an optic rail is fitted, and the safety lever has a bolt hold open notch. Sights are adjustable. One 30 round magazine is included. Weight is 8.5 lbs and overall length 39". It is a good fit for someone who wants AK reliability while sharing ammunition with an AR-15.
