Winchester Xpert 17 WSM 18" 8rd TrueTimber Strata Rifle

The Winchester Xpert is a lightweight bolt action rimfire built around the fast 17 Winchester Super Magnum. This version pairs an 18 inch button rifled barrel with a matte black steel receiver and a molded polymer stock finished in TrueTimber Strata camo. The barrel has a Bentz style chamber and a target crown, and the receiver is drilled and tapped, so mounting a scope for varmint work is simple. An adjustable rear sight and ramped post front sight let you shoot it right out of the box.

The heart of the rifle is the Rimfire M.O.A. Trigger, a three lever design adjustable by the owner that gives a clean, crisp break. The bolt handle is extended for easy cycling, and the 8 round rotary magazine drops free with an ambidextrous release you can work from the side rails or the release tab. Front and rear sling eyelets are molded into the stock. At about four and a half pounds it is easy to carry all day while calling coyotes or walking fence lines for prairie dogs and groundhogs, and the 17 WSM's flat trajectory makes longer shots on small game more practical than with a 22 WMR.
