Winchester Xpert SR 17 WSM 16.5" 8rd Forged Carbon Gray Rifle

The Xpert SR in 17 Winchester Super Magnum is the suppressor ready version of Winchester's lightweight bolt action rimfire, here in the Forged Carbon Gray look. The receiver and 16.5 inch barrel wear a gray Perma-Cote finish, and the polymer stock has a carbon gray hydrographic finish. The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 with a knurled thread protector, and the short barrel keeps the rifle compact with a suppressor attached.

The button rifled barrel has a Bentz style chamber and a target crown for accuracy with the fast 17 WSM. The Rimfire M.O.A. Trigger is a three lever design adjustable by the owner, and it breaks clean. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounts, and an adjustable rear sight and ramped post front sight are on the gun. It feeds from an 8 round rotary magazine with ambidextrous releases on the side rails and bottom tab, and the extended bolt handle makes quick work of follow up shots. Front and rear sling eyelets are molded into the stock. At about four and a half pounds it is easy to carry for coyotes, groundhogs and prairie dogs, and the flat shooting 17 WSM reaches farther than a 22 WMR.
