About this product

The Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Rifle in .308 Winchester brings together the time-honored Pre-'64 Controlled Round Feed action and modern fit and finish for hunters and precision shooters who demand reliability and accuracy; the AAA French walnut stock and blued steel finish present a classic look on a 22 in. free-floating, button-rifled barrel with a recessed target crown and 1:12" twist that delivers consistent groups and long-range performance for big-game hunting, tactical precision work, and range development. The forged steel receiver, flat-bottomed for secure bedding and epoxied fore and aft, mates to the massive CRF claw extractor to control cartridges from magazine to ejection, while the M.O.A. Trigger System's three-lever design provides a crisp, repeatable pull that complements the blade-type ejector and three-position safety operated by the shooting-hand thumb. Chambered for .308 Winchester with a 5+1 capacity, right-hand configuration, fixed stock and an overall length of 42.25" at 7.12 lbs, this Model 70 Super Grade is made in Portugal and is FFL required for transfer, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a traditional bolt-action rifle with modern accuracy features and collectible appeal.
