Winchester Model 70 Extreme Tungsten 300 Win Mag 26" 3rd Rifle

The Winchester Model 70 Extreme Tungsten is built for hunts where the weather does not cooperate. The receiver and barrel are finished in Tungsten Cerakote, which holds up to moisture and abrasion better than traditional bluing. The Bell and Carlson synthetic stock has a textured charcoal gray finish and a sculpted cheekpiece, and it will not swell or shift when it gets wet.

This model is chambered in 300 Win Mag with a 26 inch free floating, fluted barrel and a muzzle brake on 9/16-24 threads to tame the recoil of the big magnum. The action is the Model 70 hunters know: a forged steel receiver bedded front and rear, Pre-'64 style controlled round feed, a blade type ejector and the three position safety. The M.O.A. Trigger System is Winchester's three lever design. The internal magazine holds 3 rounds with a hinged floorplate, the bolt body is jeweled, and a Pachmayr Decelerator pad sits on the butt. At 7.25 lbs, it is an elk and mountain rifle that is easy to carry.
