Chambered in .45 Colt with a 20" button-rifled stainless steel round barrel and a full-length magazine yielding a 10+1 capacity, this right-hand lever-action carries a tuned short-stroke lever for faster, smoother cycling at the line while the color case-hardened steel receiver, barrel band, side plates and carbine buttplate deliver the classic Winchester look; the Grade III/IV oil-finished walnut straight-grip stock adds rifle balance at a 7.40 lb weight and overall length of 39". The receiver tang is drilled and tapped for an optional peep sight and open sights are fitted from the factory, the thumb safety gives added confidence on the range or in the field, and the 1:26" twist rate matches period-accurate load performance.
