Winchester Model 1886 Deluxe 45-70 Gov 24" 8+1 Color Case Hardened Blued Walnut

The Winchester Model 1886 Deluxe is a classic lever-action rifle chambered in 45-70 Government that brings John Browning's stout, old-world action into modern hunting and range use, with an 8+1 capacity and a 24" brushed polish blued octagon barrel that stabilizes heavy cast and jacketed bullets for long-range accuracy and solid downrange energy for big game or brush country work. The color case hardened steel receiver, crescent buttplate and matching furniture caps give it the historic look collectors and shooters appreciate while the Grade III/IV satin walnut stock with a pistol grip and curved wrist makes follow-up shots comfortable on the line or in the field; at about 9.12 pounds and 43" overall length the rifle balances steady for iron-sight precision using the semi-buckhorn rear and Marble's gold bead front or for mounting optics with the receiver drilled and tapped for a scope base. The full-length magazine tube and steel fore-end cap maintain traditional handling and reliable feeding, and the robust lever action handles smokeless loads with the strength it was built for – a rifle that requires FFL transfer and suits big-game hunting, western-style shooting, and serious range practice while carrying the Winchester name and Model 1886 heritage.
