Tisas 1911 A1 US Army 45 ACP 5" 7rd Pistol

The Tisas 1911 A1 US Army is part of the Armed Services Family, a reproduction of the 1911 A1 as Remington Rand built it from 1943 to 1945. The details are the point here: a Type E hammer, a non beveled magazine well, a reprofiled ejection port, an arched mainspring housing with 8 vertical ribs, and US Property markings on the right side of the frame. The manganese phosphate finish gives it the flat, dark look of a wartime issue pistol, and A1 style sights and walnut grips finish the picture.

Under the period look it is a new gun. The frame and slide are forged carbon steel, the 5" barrel is forged and machined with button rifling, and the internals follow the Colt Series 70 pattern, so parts and holsters for a Government length 1911 are easy to find. It is chambered in 45 ACP and runs 7 round single stack magazines. It comes with a lockable hard case, two magazines, a cleaning kit, a bushing wrench, a trigger lock and the manual. A good pick for collectors who want a WWII style 1911 they can actually shoot, or for anyone who wants a plain, traditional 1911 in the original caliber.
