Tisas 1911 A1 Service 45 ACP 5" 7rd Pistol

The Tisas 1911 A1 Service is a straightforward Government size 1911 in 45 ACP, the pattern most people picture when they hear the name. It builds on the 1911A1 Army with a few practical changes: a flared and lowered ejection port so brass clears the slide cleanly, a beveled magazine well, a polished feed ramp, and a black Cerakote finish in place of the old phosphate.

The frame and slide are forged carbon steel, the 5" barrel is forged and machined with button rifling, and the internals follow the Colt Series 70 pattern, so parts, holsters and magazines are easy to find. Sights are fixed, the grips are checkered black polymer, and it has a flat mainspring housing. It feeds from 7 round single stack magazines, and two come with the pistol, along with a lockable hard case, a cleaning kit, a bushing wrench, a trigger lock and the manual. At about 36 oz unloaded it is a soft shooting 45. It suits someone who wants a first 1911 with no frills, or a reliable 45 for the nightstand.
