Tikka T3x Ace Target 26" Bronze Left Hand Rifle

This is the long barrel version of the T3x Ace Target, built on a left hand action and finished in bronze. Twenty six inches of heavy contour barrel is a lot of steel out front, and that is the point: mass at the muzzle settles the rifle down between shots, soaks up heat over a long string, and gives the powder column every inch it can use. Tikka sized the Ace barrels around velocity rather than convenience, so this is the configuration for a shooter who cares more about a flat trajectory than about carrying the rifle uphill.

The chassis underneath is modular aluminum with adjustment at the length of pull, cheek rest and grip, so the rifle can be set up for the shooter instead of compromised around a fixed stock. A two stage trigger and the familiar short throw T3x bolt handle the rest. The muzzle is threaded, the receiver carries a rail for optics, and the forend gives room for a bipod or a bag rider. Left hand target rifles are rare enough that most lefties learn to shoot right handed guns; this one removes that compromise entirely.
