Sig Sauer CROSS Trax 308 Win 16" 5rd Rifle

The CROSS Trax is the stripped down hunting version of Sig's CROSS. It keeps the one piece CROSS receiver and two stage match trigger, then cuts weight everywhere else: a skeletonized 11.5 inch M-LOK handguard, the minimalist Leg Bone folding stock, a RATTLER grip and a low profile bolt knob that will not snag on brush or a pack strap.

The 16 inch precision stainless Taper-Lok barrel is threaded 5/8-24 for a suppressor or brake and has a 1:10 twist. Overall length is 35 inches, and with the stock folded it drops to 26 inches, short enough to ride in a backpack or behind a truck seat. It feeds from a detachable AICS pattern polymer magazine, and one 5 round magazine is included. There are no iron sights, and the receiver has an integrated optic mount. At about 6.1 pounds before glass, it is built for deer hunters who walk a long way and want a compact rifle that still shoots like a precision gun. The receiver is black anodized aluminum, and the action is right hand.
