Tikka T3x Hunter 308 Win 16" 3rd Rifle

The Tikka T3x Hunter in its shortest form: a 16" matte blued, threaded barrel chambered in 308 Winchester, set in a fixed oiled walnut stock. The short barrel makes it a quick handling rifle for brush, blinds and trucks, and a threaded muzzle keeps the door open for a suppressor while keeping overall length compact.

The blued steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, and the rifle feeds from a 3 round detachable magazine. The trigger is single stage, and rifling is 1:10 for standard 308 hunting bullets. The 308 loses some velocity from a 16" tube, but it remains plenty for deer and hogs at the ranges most hunters actually shoot. If you like the look of walnut and the accuracy Tikka is known for, but want something short and light enough to swing fast in close cover, this configuration fits that job. Right hand bolt.
