Taurus 692 357 Mag/9mm 6.5" 7rd Stainless Revolver

This is the range length Taurus 692, with a 6.5" ported barrel and a vent rib on a medium stainless frame. Like every 692 it comes with two cylinders: one chambered for 357 Magnum and 38 Special +P, and one for 9mm Luger. Swap cylinders and you go from magnum loads to inexpensive 9mm practice with the same gun. Stellar clips are included to load and eject the 9mm rounds.

The long barrel gives you a longer sight radius and more velocity from 357 Magnum, and the 46 oz weight soaks up recoil so long sessions stay comfortable. Porting reduces muzzle rise for quick follow up shots. Sights are a fixed front with an adjustable rear, and the action is double action/single action with an exposed spurred hammer and a transfer bar safety. The Taurus Ribber grip cushions recoil and gives a secure hold. The finish is matte stainless throughout. Overall length is 11.64". It is a good fit for target shooting, a seven shot hunting revolver for medium game, or a first magnum for a shooter who wants to start out on 9mm.
