Geissele Super Duty MOD1 5.56 NATO 16" Heavy Barrel Rifle

Geissele's Super Duty MOD1 Heavy Barrel takes the Super Duty platform and adds a thicker barrel profile built for sustained rates of fire. The 16 inch barrel is cold hammer forged in house and chrome lined, with a 1:7 twist and a threaded muzzle wearing the HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556. Behind it sits the Super Gas Block with fine tuned gas port sizing.

Controls are where Geissele earns its money: SSA-E X two stage trigger with the Lightning Bow shape, ambidextrous configurable safety, Airborne charging handle, checkered magazine release and Maritime bolt catch. The bolt carrier group is Nanoweapon coated, and a Super 42 braided buffer spring smooths the cycle. The upper is a flat top with a Picatinny rail, paired with a 15 inch MK16 rail with stainless QD inserts, a B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stock, A17 grip and QD sling endplate. Weight is about 7.6 pounds. No magazine is included.
