Springfield Armory 2020 Redline 308 Win 20" 3rd ODG Rifle

The Model 2020 Redline is Springfield's lightweight hunting build, and this one is chambered in 308 Win with a 20" carbon fiber wrapped barrel. The barrel is threaded 5/8-24 and wears the removable SA Radial muzzle brake, so you can run it braked for range days or spin on a suppressor for the field. The action is the Model 2020 stainless steel receiver in Mil-Spec Green Cerakote, with a fluted, nitrided bolt and a Remington 700 short action pattern Picatinny mount on 6-48 screws, so mounting a scope is simple.

It sits in a Grayboe Trekker stock in olive with black webbing, a synthetic stock that keeps total weight around 6.25 lbs. Feeding is from a detachable 3 round AICS short action pattern magazine, which means spare mags are easy to find. The TriggerTech adjustable trigger runs from 2.5 to 5 lbs, and the two position safety is right where a bolt gun shooter expects it. It is a right hand rifle with no iron sights, built to carry all day on a mountain hunt and still hold its own on steel at distance.
