Sig Sauer P226 X-Five Extreme 9mm 5" 20rd Romeo-X Pro Pistol

Sig built the P226 X-Five Extreme around a stainless steel frame and a 5" bull barrel, and the weight shows up where it helps. Recoil stays flat, the front sight comes back fast, and the gun tracks through a string with very little input from the shooter. The AX3 trigger is single action only with a curved skeletonized shoe, and it adjusts, so take up and overtravel get tuned to the shooter instead of the other way around. Hogue G10 Piranha grips give the hand something to bite into, and the alloy magwell forgives a rushed reload.

This version comes with the Romeo-X Pro mounted from the factory on Sig's SIG-LOC system, which locks the optic to the slide from underneath rather than clamping it on top. The battery sits on the side, so the deck height stays low enough for a standard height iron sight co-witness with the X-RAY 3 front sight. The frame carries a 1913 accessory rail and a beavertail, the extended slide catch is the improved X-Series part, and three 20rd steel magazines with alloy basepads come in the box. It is a heavy pistol by carry standards and a very steady one on a timer.
