Sig Sauer P226 X-Five Extreme 9mm 5" 20rd Pistol

Extreme is the X-Five variant built around grip texture. The Hogue G10 Piranha panels are the most aggressive thing Sig puts on this frame, cut with rows of pointed teeth that lock into the palm dry, wet or gloved. On a duty gun some shooters find them too much for daily carry; on a match gun that gets fired in long strings, they are exactly the point. An alloy magwell sits underneath to speed the reload.

The rest is the full size steel X-Five formula. A 5" bull barrel and a Nitron finished steel frame put the weight where it keeps the muzzle down, and at 46.6 oz the gun simply does not move much. The AX3 trigger system is fully adjustable with a curved skeletonized shoe and a single action break, sitting behind a thumb safety. Sights are XRAY3 day night front and rear, and the SIG-LOC Pro cut under the rear plate takes a red dot directly. There is a 1913 rail under the dust cover and the improved X-Series extended slide catch on the side. Three 20rd steel magazines with alloy base pads come in the case.
