Everything that makes the X-Five Extreme worth shooting comes from mass and geometry. The frame is stainless steel, the 5" barrel is a bull profile, and the gun weighs 46.6 oz empty. Point it, break the single action AX3 trigger, and the sights barely leave the target. That trigger is adjustable and wears a curved skeletonized shoe, so the shooter can set it up rather than live with it.
The slide is cut for Sig's SIG-LOC mounting system and comes with a cover plate, leaving the choice of red dot open. Underneath it sits an X-RAY 3 front and rear sight setup. Hogue G10 Piranha grips wrap a frame that carries a beavertail and a 1913 rail, and the alloy magwell speeds up reloads.
