Sig Sauer P211 GTO Equinox 9mm 4.4" 23rd Comp Pistol

The P211 is Sig Sauer's double stack 1911, and the GTO Equinox is the Custom Works dress version of it. A 4.4 inch bull barrel is paired with an integrated MACH3D compensator, a 3D printed part that routes gas to hold the muzzle down instead of just venting it upward. Recoil on a steel framed 9mm was already mild; with the compensator working it is close to flat. The frame is steel with a three slot accessory rail and a full length dust cover, and a removable steel magwell speeds up reloads.

The slide uses the SIG-LOC PRO optic footprint and wears aggressive serrations, with fiber optic sights underneath. Controls are what a 1911 shooter expects: a grip safety, an ambidextrous thumb safety and a straight pull trigger. The magazines are the interesting part, because the P211 feeds from P320 pattern steel magazines, so spares are easy to come by and the gun holds far more than a single stack. This configuration comes with one 23rd and two 21rd magazines. Fast on the clock, comfortable in the hand, and finished the way Custom Works finishes things.
