Sig Sauer M400 Forge 5.56 NATO 16" 10rd Romeo-MSR Rifle

This is the M400 Forge in its 10rd configuration, sold into states where magazine capacity is limited and bought elsewhere by shooters who simply prefer a shorter magazine off a bench. Everything else matches the standard rifle: a 16" cold hammer forged barrel with a mid length gas system, an A2 flash hider on 1/2-28 threads, and a Romeo-MSR Gen II red dot with a 2 MOA aiming point mounted at the factory.

Sig put a TriggerTech two stage flat blade duty trigger in this rifle, and it is the single largest upgrade over a standard fire control group. Take up is smooth, the wall is obvious, and the break is clean and repeatable. The handguard is a 15" free float M-LOK tube with a continuous top rail, leaving room for a light, a laser or a hand stop wherever the support hand lands. Controls include an ambidextrous charging handle, and the Magpul SL-K stock collapses through six positions for shooters in armor or heavy layers. Forged aluminum receivers wear a black anodized finish. Mid length gas timing gives the bolt carrier a longer, gentler push than a carbine port, which shows up as less felt recoil and a flatter sight picture between shots.
