Sig Sauer M400 Forge 5.56 NATO 16" 10rd Romeo-MSR CA Compliant Rifle

The California compliant M400 Forge trades the collapsible stock for a Magpul MOE fixed stock and comes with a single 10rd magazine. The rest is the Forge package: a 16" cold hammer forged barrel, a mid length gas system, an A2 flash hider on 1/2-28 threads, and a Romeo-MSR Gen II red dot with a 2 MOA dot already mounted and waiting on a zero.

A fixed stock is not a downgrade for everyone. Length of pull stays consistent, the cheek weld repeats shot to shot, and there is nothing to rattle or slip under recoil. Behind it sits a TriggerTech two stage flat blade duty trigger, which cleans up the press far more than most shooters expect from a factory carbine. The 15" free float M-LOK handguard covers nearly the entire barrel with a full length top rail for backup irons or a magnifier, and the charging handle is ambidextrous. Receivers are forged aluminum with a black anodized finish, and the rifle weighs 7.2 pounds with a magazine in place. For a compliant build very little was given up, and the parts that usually get replaced first, the trigger and the optic, are already sorted.
