Sig Sauer 1911 X-Carry Freedom 45 ACP 4.2" 8rd Bronze Pistol

Sig's 1911 X Carry takes the classic Browning layout and brings it current, and this Freedom edition carries Freedom and US flag engraving on a bronze Cerakote slide. The slide is stainless steel and cut for a direct mount red dot with no adapter plate stacking the optic up higher than it needs to be. XRAY3 day and night sights give you a usable picture in low light. The frame is stainless steel in a matte black DLC finish, carry length, with an undercut trigger guard, a beavertail and a Picatinny rail for a light.

At 4.2" the barrel keeps the gun shorter than a full size 1911 without dropping into micro territory, which is the length most people actually carry a steel 1911 in. G10 grip panels from LOK Grips give the frame real texture without chewing up a cover garment. The slide is serrated for a positive grip when you press check or clear it. It is single action, and it comes with two 8 round steel magazines. In 45 ACP the mass of a steel frame does honest work on recoil, and the two tone bronze and black treatment is the kind of thing you pull out of the safe when someone asks what you shoot.
