About the Shark Coast Tactical Misfit-22
Shark Coast Tactical built the Misfit-22 out of Inconel, which is unusual in a rimfire can where most of the class is aluminum or stainless. Inconel takes heat and wear without complaining, and the tradeoff is not weight: the Misfit-22 still comes in at 5 ounces, 5.1" long and 1.2" in diameter.
Inside is a 12 baffle stack over a 0.255" bore, which is a lot of baffles for a body this short. It mounts 1/2-28 direct thread, the standard rimfire pattern, so it goes on most threaded 22 rifles and pistols without an adapter. A 1" wrench flat is machined into the body, so installation and removal happen with a wrench instead of a fight.
