Angstadt Arms Vanquish 22 Short Suppressed Barrel 22 LR 12"

The short Vanquish 22 is a 12 inch integrally suppressed 22 LR barrel. The bore is ported so that standard velocity 22 LR drops below the sound barrier on the way out, which means quiet shooting on whatever bulk ammunition is on the shelf rather than a hunt for subsonic loads. Installation is a barrel swap in place of the factory barrel.

Angstadt Arms built it without baffles, so lead and carbon have nowhere to collect, cleaning takes minutes instead of an afternoon, and a baffle strike is not possible. A 12 inch barrel also keeps a rimfire host trim and quick to swing, which matters more on a plinking gun than another inch of sight radius does. Finish is black. Between the lack of maintenance and the lack of a can hanging off the muzzle, it is a different way to get to a quiet 22.
