Shark Coast Tactical Distressed 5.56 NATO 10.5" 30rd Pistol

Distressed is the model name Shark Coast Tactical puts on this 5.56 NATO pistol, built on an aluminum receiver. The build itself is straightforward: a 10.5" barrel with a black nitride treatment and a threaded muzzle, a Picatinny rail across the receiver, and an M-LOK handguard for lights, hand stops and sling hardware.

An SB Tactical SBA3 brace takes care of the back of the gun. It adjusts along the tube the way a collapsible stock does, so length can be set for the shooter and then collapsed for storage or transport. A Magpul MOE grip fills the hand and the magazine holds 30 rounds. A short 5.56 barrel trades velocity and muzzle manners for a package that fits in places a carbine will not, and the threaded muzzle is the answer to the second half of that trade. Anyone who has shot a 10.5" gun bare muzzled understands why the threads are there. As a compact 5.56 that takes standard accessories at every mounting point, this one has an obvious audience.
