Shark Coast Tactical Day of the Dead 5.56 NATO 10.5" 30rd Pistol

The Day of the Dead is an AR pistol in 5.56 NATO with the artwork laser engraved into the aluminum receiver rather than printed on top of it, then finished in a custom Cerakote treatment. Engraving that goes into the metal survives holster wear, bench rash and cleaning solvent in a way that a surface graphic does not, which is the reason to do it that way on a gun meant to be shot rather than shelved.

The barrel measures 10.5" with a black nitride finish and a threaded muzzle. The receiver carries a Picatinny rail across the top and the handguard runs M-LOK slots for a light, a sling point or a hand stop. At the rear sits an SB Tactical SBA3 brace, an adjustable polymer unit that indexes on the buffer tube. Magazine capacity is 30 rounds. A 10.5" 5.56 barrel is loud and it moves a lot of gas, which is exactly why the threaded muzzle matters here: a brake, a blast can or a suppressor mount changes the shooting experience more on this gun than on a 16" carbine. Compact, engraved and set up to take a red dot straight out of the case.
