Savage 110 Trailblazer 300 HAM'R 16.5" 4rd Gray Rifle

300 HAM'R was built to push a 30 caliber bullet fast out of a short barrel, and the 16.5 inch Trailblazer takes full advantage of that. Nothing about this rifle is long. It handles in thick cover, comes out of a truck without catching on the door frame, and still throws enough bullet to put a hog down at woods distance. The 110 action underneath is the same one Savage has been refining for decades, with a jeweled bolt body and an AccuTrigger you can adjust yourself.

The barrel is a straight fluted heavy sporter with a threaded muzzle, which is close to mandatory on a cartridge this loud coming out of a barrel this short. Black Ink Cerakote covers the barreled action, and the Flat Dark Gray Trophy stock adjusts for length of pull with spacers so it fits a hunter in a t shirt or in a heavy coat. A LimbSaver recoil pad handles the push, and the one piece rail is already installed so you only add rings and glass. A detachable box magazine holds 4 rounds. If you hunt from a stand in tight timber or run dogs on hogs, a short bolt gun in 300 HAM'R covers ground that neither a 223 nor a 308 handles quite the same way.
